Dixon 13/2/1/2


Att this court came John Hudson and brought into court our judgement of Release and Confirmation bearing the date May 2nd 1723 in which Judgement it appears that William Marris and Jane his wife released and confirmed unto the said John Hudson, his hears and assigns for ever.  That Messuage situate and being in Grassby aforesaid two Closes of Meadow or Pasture Ground called Wyre Closes, three Gires, one other Close called Bailgarth Close containing three acres and the Dovecoat standing therein.  One other Close called Huttgarth Close containing ½ an acre, two other Closes, Ashgarth and Hempgarth containing one acre and half.  All which said Premises are lying in Grassby and were there in the Tennure of William Marris and all other lands Tenants, heiredilains, and Planies….of them the said William Marris and Jane his wife in Grassby aforesaid within the Manor and Soke aforesaid.  And the said John Hudson desired the same might be enrolled which is accordingly done.

Att this court came Timothy Day and brought into court our Judgement of Release and Confirmation bearing the date 13th June 1724 in which  Judgement it appears that Thomas Williamson and Mary his wife release and confirm unto Timothy Day his heirs and assigns for ever.  All that Close of Meadow or Pasture called Babb Close containing 2 acres lying and being in Grassby within the Manor and Soke aforesaid and then in the Tenure of the said Thomas Williamson and the said Timothy Day desired the same be enrolled which is accordingly done.

Att this court came Tristram Dixon and brought into our court Judgement of Release and Confirmation bearing the date 8th May 1725 in which said Judgement  it appears that John Odling released and confirmed unto the said Tristram Dixon, his heirs and assigns for ever All that piece or place of Ground whereon a Cottage or Tenement lately stood and a Toftstead there unto adjoingin lying and being in Grassby in the said County of Lincoln and also All that Close of Meadow or Pasture Ground containing by estimation one acre and one rood (be it more or less) lying and being in Grassby aforesaid in the Tennure of Joseph Gillyatt with the appurtances which the Manor and Soke aforesaid and the said Tristram Dixon desired the same might be enrolled which is accordingly done.

Att this court came George Lightfoot and brought into court our Judgement of  Release and Confirmation bearing the dat 19th March 1725 in the said Judgement it appears that Robert Hendale and Elizabeth his wife released and confirmed unto the said George Lightfoot his heirs and assigns for ever All that Cottage or Tenement with Croft thereto adjoining containing by estimation one rood situate lying and being in Grassby aforesaid in the Tennure of the said Robert Hendale with the appurtances within the Manor and Soke aforesaid And the siad George Lightfoot desired the same might be enrolled which is accordingly done.
