LINCOLNSHIRE ARCHIVES
We welcome telephone or written enquiries to help you get the most out of your visit to Lincolnshire Archives.
In order to safeguard these unique archives, some security procedures are inevitable. We hope that you understand the reasons behind these measures.
- Reader Tickets: on your first visit you will need to register for a reader ticket which is valid for four years. You will need to show official proof of identification such as a passport or driving licence and give in two recent mini-ID photographs of yourself. Instant photographs may be purchased here.
- You are advised to bring your ticket on every visit; otherwise, a charge is made for a replacement ticket.
- Bags, coats and files etc. may not be taken into the Search Room, but lockers are available for your use.
- Microfiche/film viewers need to be booked in advance.
